Both Buildings: Sorry but there will be no Spanish Club today. Hope to see you next Tuesday!

Attention 7th and 8th graders interested in joining the Track team.  Please attend an informational meeting to learn about the season.  Girls will meet on Wednesday, March 7th.  The meeting will be in the gym.

TSA will be meeting Thursday to see who’s egg survives in room 146 at the 7/8  building.  We’ll start the fun at 3:40.

Jazz Lab - we are an important part of the Jazz Concert at North H.S. tonight. Arrive at North at 6:30pm  We will have our dress rehearsal after school today at 3:30pm  All Jazz Lab members are expected to attend both of these events.

Attention all students- Student Council is sponsoring an open gym on Friday, March 16th from 3:30-5:30.  6th grade students will report to the 6th grade center gym and 7th and 8th grade students will report to the 7th/8th grade center gym.  The cost is $2 and you must have your school ID.  Business club will be selling refreshments for purchase. Come join us for some fun! 

In honor of National Reading Month, the two middle school LRC’s are hosting a Bookmark Throwdown. Thompson and Wredling want YOU to put your artistic or graphic talents to the test by creating an original bookmark that promotes a love for reading. Be creative, be colorful… the winning bookmarks from each school will be professionally printed and distributed at BOTH schools. There will be two categories, hand-drawn or digitally designed. Teachers from each middle school will vote on the winning bookmarks. And the winner(s) will receive the prestige of their bookmark representing their school across the river.  Bookmark forms can be picked up in the LRC. The Bookmark Throwdown will run from March 5 through March 16. Winners will be announced Friday, March 23. Come on Thunder… It’s time to make YOUR mark!
