News for Today

Thompson Types will meet today in the 6th grade center LRC from 3:40-4:40.  Come to hang out with friends, be creative, and get your writing on!  

Are you ready to build and race your very own dragster? Then come to TSA TODAY in room 146 of the 7/8  building, and find out how to do it.  Make sure to bring a pencil with you, because it’s your chance to see if you can design a dragster that can race to the top!  We’ll be meeting from 3:40 to 4:25.

7th-8th Jazz Lab has rehearsal tomorrow morning at 7:30am.  Our concert is on April 26th - coming up soon!

Students interested in joining the Props,Costumes and Makeup Crew for the school musical, Lion King, should attend our first meeting this Friday, April 6th, from 3:35-4:30 in Mrs. Franklin’s room, 130, at the 7th/8th center.

Have you ever wondered how chemist make bubble gum?  Join Science Club this Tuesday, April 10 in Rm 129 at the 7th/8th center from 3:40-4:30. We will make and taste our very own bubble gum!

Fiction on the Fox, a celebration of creative writing, will be on May 4th at the Baker Community Center.  Consider submitting one of your pieces to be read at this special event.  Email your writing to FictionOnTheFox@d303.org

8th Graders: Are you interested in trying out for the St.Charles North High School Cheerleading team? There will be open cheer gyms on tomorrow and April 20th from 6:00-8:00 PM at SCN in the Mezzanine. There is also a mandatory parent/athlete meeting on Wednesday, April 18 at 6:00 PM at SCN in Cafeteria. Try-out Clinics are Monday, April 23rd & Thursday, April 26th from 6:00-8:00 PM.
