News for Today

The 7th grade Volleyball Navy B team fought hard to defeat Rotolo Red last night in three close games.  The girls serves were consistent to take down Rotolo for the win.  

The 7th grade Volleyball Navy A team crushed Rotolo Red last night in two games, displaying amazing net-work and great team-work.  

The 8th grade Navy A Volleyball team defeated Rotolo Red in three exciting games last night.  The team displayed great effort in the victory!

The 8th grade Navy B Volleyball team defeated Rotolo Red last night 2-0 to improve their record to 6-1.  The team looks to continue its winning ways against Yorkville tomorrow.  Good luck ladies!

The 8th grade Gold Volleyball A team lost in 3 games to Wredling. It was a well played match.

The 8th grade B Gold Volleyball team lost to Wredling. The girls played extremely well, despite the loss.

The 7th grade A Gold Volleyball team won an awesome match against Wredling last night. The B team fought hard but lost in three to a tough Wredling team. Wish the girls luck as the prepare for Kaneland tomorrow.

The Cross Country team continued their winning ways last night against Yorkville.  Congrats to the entire team!

Thompson Types, the creative writing club, will meet this coming Thursday in the 6th grade LRC.  If you’re coming from the 7th/8th grade center, meet in the foyer right after school to walk over together.  See Ms. Vander Woude or Ms. Keane with any questions.

TSA will meet this Thursday in room 146 at the 7/8 building from 3:40 to 4:25.  This will be the last day we will be working on our rockets.  Please see or email Mr. Hensel with any questions.

6th Grade Center:  Hey did you know you can stop by room 118 before school tomorrow and EVERY TUESDAY and THURSDAY  from 7:45am - 8:15am for homework helper?  Bring your breakfast, backpack and homework - so you’ll never have a late assignment again.

The next Builders Club meeting will be tomorrow afterschool in room 114 in the 6th grade center.  Please come if you like to give back to your community and help others.

No after school activities for today. Tomorrow morning in the 6th grade center is Homework Lab, in the 7th/8th grade center is Concert Choir

6,7,and 8th graders- Student Council applications are due this Friday.

Picture retake day is this coming Monday, September 25th.  Students who did not have their pictures taken in August or need a picture retaken will be called down to the foyer during the morning.

Attention 6th Grade H.O.P.E members and any other 6th Grade student that wants to join H.O.P.E; our first official meeting will be next Tuesday, September 26th from 7:45 to 8:15 am in Room 222. Please bring your signed permission form to the meeting. You can pick up a permission form from Miss Russell in PE or Ms. Meyers in the health Room 222.
