7th/8th Grade Center:This week is Red Ribbon Week across the United States and HOPE club is leading Thompson during this national event. Red Ribbon Week is a way for students to unite and take a stand against drugs. Unfortunately, drug abuse is too common in this country. Did you know, 90% of drug addicts in America started smoking, drinking or using other drugs before they turned 18? Get educated, know the facts,  and most importantly, don’t become part of this statistic. Thank you to all who wore red today!!

6th Grade Center: Today marks the first day of Red Ribbon Week. Red Ribbon week  is an alcohol, tobacco, and other drug prevention awareness campaign scheduled at the end of October. Each day this week HOPE club members will be looking out for students who show the most spirit every day. Winners will get a giftcard, drawstring bag, and a sweet treat. Before school and during lunch please join the pledge to be drug free! If you pledge, you also have a chance of winning a prize! Visit the Pledge table before school in the main foyer or during your lunch hour in the cafeteria! Thank you for wearing red today! Don’t forget tomorrow we will be “Teaming Up Against Drugs” Wear your favorite sports team attire! Remember TMS- Your future is key! So stay drug free!

Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be having our first meeting Today after school with an amazing COOKOUT! Please join us and bring a friend for fun games and great food!! We will meet in room 106 and play games and eat in the courtyard from 3:35-4:30 pm-Angie Russell

Drone club is meeting tomorrow before school from 7:45 to 8:15 and also after school from 3:30 to 4:00.

Good Morning Thompson Art Club! We will be meeting this Wednesday October 25th. Art Club meets from 3:40 - 4:30 pm after school in both the 6th center and 7-8 center. See you there!!

TSA will be meeting this Thursday to start constructing their pop-can camping stoves.   We will be in room 146 in the 7/8  building from 3:40 to 4:25.  Please see Mr. Hensel with any questions.

Business club is meeting Thursday before school from 7:45 to 8:15 and also after school from 3:30 to 4:00.

Just a friendly reminder to all students that you must have your picture ID with you throughout the day. If you need a replacement ID, you may purchase one in the LRC for $2.00. This is for your safety.
