6th graders planning to attend the WEB event after school today, please meet in Mrs. Cwinski's room 214 after school.  

Yesterday, the ThompsonChess team took 31 members to play Geneva North.  Haines emerged victorious with a 314-139 victory.  Well done team!

Good Morning Thompson Art Club! We will be meeting today Wednesday October 25th. Art Club meets from 3:40 - 4:30 pm after school in both the 6th center and 7-8 center. See you there!!

Thompson Types will meet on Thursday in the 6th grade center LRC from 3:40-4:30.  If you are leaving from the 7-8 center, head over right after school.  See you there!

TSA will be meeting this Thursday to start constructing their pop-can camping stoves.   We will be in room 146 in the 7/8  building from 3:40 to 4:25.  Please see Mr. Hensel with any questions.

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Come see the Thompson Middle School Theatre present the fall play, Captain Dangerous and many other entertaining skits. The performances will be this Friday and Saturday from 7-8 PM in the 7th/8th Grade Center gym. The cost is $3 for students and teachers are free!

6th Grade Center-Did you know? More than 480,000 Americans die each year from tobacco-related illnesses. Don’t be another statistic. Join the HOPE club this week and pledge to be Drug Free! The most spirited students will win prizes! Thank you for being too bright for drugs! Don’t forget to wear a crazy hat or have crazy hair tomorrow! Use your head. Don’t do drugs.  Remember TMS- Your future is key! So stay drug free!

7/8 Grade Center-Underage drinking is a major public health problem. Alcohol use is the most commonly abused drug among youth in the United States. Each year, approximately 5,000 people under the age of 21 die as a result of underage drinking. When driving is involved, that number doubles to almost 10,000 people. Look for the HOPE club table today at lunch to make your pledge to be drug free.

Hey 6th graders, please check your email! There is a special invitation from Mrs. Van Sickle to join us in the LRC for our Book Cafe. Details are in the email, so please be sure to read them carefully, and we hope to see you at our Book Cafe starting this Friday!

Just a reminder for Craft Club and HOPE Club. Do not go to the scheduled yearbook picture at the 7th/8th Building tomorrow morning. We will be taking our photos at an upcoming club meeting.

6th Grade Center Only: Have you ever wanted to run through the halls of the school?  Have you ever wanted to complete challenges and solve clues?  If you said yes come to the 6th grade Amazing race game night, Thursday November 2nd afterschool from 3:30-5:30 in the cafeteria at the 6th grade campus.  You can win prizes and have will have awesome snacks.  We hope to see you there.
