Red Ribbon Week

6th Grade Center: Did you know? More than 4 in 10 people who begin drinking before age 15 eventually become alcoholics. Don’t be another statistic. We will be announcing the spirit week winners tomorrow! Thank you for using your head and not doing drugs! Don’t forget to wear your TMS spirit wear tomorrow to show that our school supports being drug free!  Remember TMS- Your future is key! So stay drug free!

7/8th Grade Center: Did you know that one American dies from a prescription drug overdose every 19 minutes? Remember the importance of making healthy choices. Not only can it affect you but also the lives of the ones you love.  HOPE club wants to thank everyone who made the pledge to be drug free yesterday. If you didn’t get to sign the pledge yesterday, please stop by the LRC today to do so.

Attention ALL HOPE Club Members the HOPE Shirts are in! If you have paid for a shirt, 7th and 8th grade members please see Ms. Gutshall after school. 6th Grade members please see Ms. Russell during PE or Health to get yours.

Thompson Types will meet today in the 6th grade center LRC from 3:40-4:30.  If you are leaving from the 7-8 center, head over right after school.  See you there!

TSA will be meeting today to start constructing their pop-can camping stoves.   We will be in room 146 in the 7/8  building from 3:40 to 4:25.  Please see Mr. Hensel with any questions.

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Come see the Thompson Middle School Theatre present the fall play, Captain Dangerous and many other entertaining skits. The performances will be this Friday and Saturday from 7-8 PM in the 7th/8th Grade Center gym. The cost is $3 for students and teachers are free!

Hey 6th graders, please check your email! There is a special invitation from Mrs. Van Sickle to join us in the LRC for our Book Cafe. Details are in the email, so please be sure to read them carefully, and we hope to see you at our Book Cafe starting this Friday!

Reminder to Jazz Lab students that there is no rehearsal tomorrow morning before school.  Our next rehearsal is Tuesday afternoon at 3:30pm after school!  Can’t wait to see you there!
