The 7th grade Gold A team played a tremendous 2nd half last night to defeat the Geneva North Vikings. Keep it up, boys.

Good morning Thompson Art Club! We are meeting today Wednesday November 8th right after school- both club groups - at each 6th & 7-8 centers. See you then!!

Did you know it is national novel writing month?  This is a yearly competition where young writers can try to write a whole novel in the month of November.  Come to Thompson Types, tomorrow in the 6th grade center LRC from 3:40-4:40, and get started on your novel!

Attention all Builders Club members...please meet at 7:00 AM on Friday for flag distribution.

Be sure to visit the Thompson 6th Grade Center Book Fair running from Tuesday, November 14  through Monday, November 20th in the Learning Resource Center.  Hours are from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Tuesday through Friday, and all day on Monday, November 20 from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm for Parent-Teacher Conferences.  Remember: books make EXCELLENT holiday gifts...they don’t shrink, stretch, or fade.

6th Grade Book Cafe is cancelled for this Thursday, but we are still scheduled to meet on Friday, so bring your appetite for some good literature!

It is the season of giving and gratitude...please consider donating needed items to Lurieś Childrens Hospital and Ronald McDonald Houses in our area. Please see posters and flyers for a list of goods. Donation boxes are in the Main Office, the LRC, and Room 232. There are raffle prizes for donating!

HOPE club members: Please meet Miss Gutshall in the front foyer by the main office after school today. We will walk over to the 6th grade center together.
