News for Today

The 7th grade Gold Basketball team split a pair of hard-fought games in Yorkville last night.  The A team won a thrilling game in double overtime with clutch free throw shooting and hot outside shooting. The B team played a great first half en route to a loss they will bounce back from.

Hey 6th graders, we will have the privilege of hearing Michael Northrop, author of the popular Tombquest Series, discuss writing, reading, and what inspires us in the LRC on Tuesday, November 28. His latest thrilling adventure, Polaris, is available at the Book Fair NOW. Buy a copy TODAY, and Mr. Northrop will sign it for you when he presents to us.

Builder’s Club will be meeting this Thursday, 11/16 from 3:35-4:30 in Mrs. Brewick’s room 114 in the 6th grade center. Bring a friend!

Are you ready for mayhem, destruction, and total chaos?  Then you need to come to TSA’s Battlebot meeting this Thursday at the 7/8 building in room 146 at 3:40.  It will be an informational meeting lasting about 20 minutes.  Please see Mr. Hensel with any questions.

It’s still November and that means it’s still national novel writing month.  Come join Thompson Types to work on your novel tomorrow, Thursday November 16th from 3:40-4:30 in the 6th grade center LRC.  Also, if you are ordering a Thompson Types writer’s notebook or t-shirt, don’t forget your order form and money.  

Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be meeting this Friday morning, from 7:45-8:15 in Mr. Petersen’s room. Join us for snacks, games, and a special guest speaker. Everyone is welcome!
