News for Today

Both Buildings: HOPE Club would like to thank everyone who participating in the Holiday Spirit Week! We wish the whole Thunder Family a nice relaxing break and Happy Holidays!

6th, 7th, and 8th Graders…..Do you have what it takes to be the D303 Middle School Top Culinary Champion? We want YOU to join our Thompson Thunder team!  This year’s culinary competition will kick off with an informational meeting at 7:50am on Wednesday, January 10th in room 118 in the 6th grade center.  You will receive competition details, meeting schedules and find out when your test samples are due for team selection.  15 students will be chosen to represent Thompson as we compete against Wredling on Saturday, March 3rd at St. Charles East High School.  This will be the tenth year of cooking fun - join us and make it the best ever.  The theme this year is RED or ORANGE - all dishes must contain visible red or orange ingredients.

Just a friendly reminder that students are NOT to bring their Chromebook power cords to school. They are too easily misplaced in large building as well as a safety issue in the classroom.

6th grade building-Students, if you ordered a book from the book fair and have not yet received, please see Mrs. Van Sickle in the LRC.

6th grade students interested in participating in the Spelling Bee can see Mrs. Cwinski in rm 214 for information.  The Spelling Bee is January 30th.

Have a wonderful winter holiday, see you in 2018!
