Attention 6th, 7th, and 8th graders! Fill out your Operation Snowflake registration forms today! Our annual event will take place on Friday, February 23rd from 3:30 to 9pm at Wredling! Anyone from Thompson and Wredling can attend. The cost is $20 which includes your dinner, snacks, games/activities and a t-shirt. Don’t hesitate, sign up today! This is an event that you do NOT want to miss!!

Color Wars for Wednesday’s Spirit Week was a resounding success!  Team 7-3 had 58% of their team decked out in white, followed closely by team 7-5.  Team 8-5 won the blackout challenge with 98% team participation.  Team 8-1 was close with 84% participation.  Thanks showing all of your Thunder Spirit!  The two winning teams will enjoy a donut breakfast this Friday morning.

TSA will be meeting in room 146 today from 3:40 to 4:25 to work on their battlebots.  

Our school Spelling Bee is next Tuesday, January 30th.  It is not too late to sign up!  Our school champion will need just 2 more wins against local middle schools to win a trip to Washington DC in the spring!  Please pick up a permission slip in the main office and turn it in by this Friday.  Or email Mrs. Gupta to have one sent to you.

Thompson Types will meet today in the 6th grade center LRC from 3:40-4:30.  Come and write something worth reading!

Tomorrow is the last day for Spirit Week-Comfy Day.  Wear your pj’s, onesie, or sweats and show your school spirit!

Dance Club: Just a reminder that Dance Club will meet tomorrow morning at the 7/8 building. See you there!

Science Club will meet on Tuesday, January 30 in room 129 from 3:40-4:30.  Bring your completed egg drop devices and be ready to test them.

Would you like the opportunity to take part in creating technology that’s changing our world?  Would you like to learn to code?  Join the Thompson Coding Club!  The first meeting is Tuesday, January 30th at 3:40 in the 7/8 Campus LRC.  No previous computer experience is necessary.  Coding Club is open to all students 6th through 8th grade students.  Pick up a permission form in the LRC.
